Like the Kwanso, is it aggressive in your garden? It seems your El Desperado color matches what I see here, a paler yellow.

Is it just Kwanso or double Kwanso? I like it whichever it is...........You've got plenty of golds and yellows that are showing off for you. I bet they are a bright beacon in your garden.........Maryl

Kwanso is currently in two containers, and will probably stay there because I have no more room for in-ground planting.

Speaking of containers, I have two large containers at the bottom of my front steps holding Happy Returns. They were last divided in 2016 so I did the right thing and divided them in early spring. In addition to the two clumps I kept for myself, I harvested four similarly sized clumps. Even with a 67% reduction in fans, I had more blooms than last year.

Maryl, if you look closely I think you will actually see three layers of petals, at least that's how it looked to me.

I had Kwanso already here when we moved in. I moved out all the regular orange to the rocky area around the creek, got rid of the messy double orange ditch lilies and thought I put the Kwanso with the regular orange; however I've never seen it since. It may be in the area where there is a tree at the creek and the plants there continue to grow but never bloom.
