Most good but a few bad.

They seem to have some hostas that you can't get elsewhere. I would be interested in knowing if they do mail order.

I'd like to hear of experiences with their mail order hostas too.

They appear to take online orders of many plants including hosta. They have a good selection of hostas, but may be a bit pricey. But I also could not find about the size of their plants so that could be a reason for price. The reviews that I saw were mostly very good.

They are a full service retail nursery and do not offer mail order.

gardengal, are you sure about them not providing mail order? There is a "ship it to me" option on their checkout page. They don't seem to be adding shipping charges, though.

I asked K & K directly through their Facebook page if they ship hostas. They said yes, "thousands."

I didn't contact them directly but there is nothing on their websites that discusses mail order or shipping or shipping costs!

If they do mail order, it is obviously not a big part of their business model.

There are 2 K&K Nurseries. One is in Florida, one in Iowa.

Oops did not know there are more close names. Yes, I was talking about IA place. I was able to place an order however it seems they send paypal request after they process order. So far no word. But it is busy time.

We visit Chicago several times a year but we never make it out of the Loop where our daughter lives. I take that back, we've been twice to the Chicago Botanical Garden but that was several years ago. I love the Chihully glass lily pads at Garfield Park. If Land of the Giants is open next year I hope to make it there but I assume that's at least 2-2 1/2 hours from the West Loop, maybe more since 90/94 is always so busy. I still have stuff to plant from Sebright and Mason so I shouldn't be looking for more. . . .

I went to the K&K garden site in Iowa. They sell online and have many varieties of hosta as well as other plant.
