Lyagushka Tsarevna (AKA Frog Princess) is doing excellently for me. It's the largest tomato plant in the garden, the first of its fruit-size or larger to set fruit, and it's setting a lot of fruit. I haven't tasted it, yet. I'm in a BSk climate with extra hot summer days for a BSk climate (it borders a Csa climate) with an elevation of 2,260 feet. I'm growing it with black plastic in the ground, and I have fertilized it (calcium nitrate, 24-8-16 All-purpose Miracle Gro, monopotassium phosphate, and/or potassium sulfate). Last I checked it had set at least 15 fruits, and appeared to have a *lot* more to come. It sets fruit in the arid heat and also has good seedling cold-tolerance. It's regular leaf and indeterminate.

Aunt Ruby’s German Green is very productive for me. Also very sweet and juicy.

Maybe I will try it. I hope I can figure out when it`s ripe. Thanks! I have so many tomatoes picked out for next year that I am going to have to cut down. I always grow Big Beef though.

The shade of green changes when they are ripe, plus they become softer.
