I really like the white seedling. I does indeed have some big teeth. Your pink seedling is very pretty too. It sounds like it is increasing well. Bud building is exciting too.

Purple Passion's Promise is really nice. Your clump shot of Dance Again is lovely.

Our place is buzzing with Junebugs. They must be disappointed because there are no peaches for them to eat this year.

Nan - I was hoping the Junebugs might disappear after a storm took out my neighbor's peach tree last year. But there are still some buzzing about. Thanks for the comments on the seedlings!

Maryl - My white coneflower disappeared last year, and the red one did not show up this Spring. I have a lot of self-seedling purple coneflowers this year that came from those two. Coneflowers only seem to live two to five years here.

That white seedling is special. And of course I like the Grandma's Smile seedling. It is, after all, pink! Dance Again, so pretty in the clump. My Purple Passion's Promise is also late. And I have it planted next to Approaching Storm which is also late. When they are blooming side by side, it is hard to tell them apart. (Again, part of my keen landscaping technique!!!)

Debra: I'm always amazed by the outcoms of your crosses. All of the pics are lovely and look as if they have had days of cool weather and lots of rain which we know is not the case.

Dearest Valentine has started another scape. Not sure if I would call it a rebloom one but I noticed it last night while live heading. I think it will be around 9 scapes total for this season.

The picture with Purple Passions Promise and the Blues Project grabbed my eye, of course. Love the pink seedling! I thought I heard either Japanese beetles or June bugs buzzing off when I took out a Grape Vine in my blackberries. Never actually saw one, so now I am wondering if it could have been something else. They usually love my blackberries just as they get good and sweet, grr. Not "seen" a single June bug this year. I saw an occasional Japanese beetle around the week of the 4th of July, and suddenly they are gone? Not complaining, but rare I see this few.

Nancy - You would go for the photo of the two purples together. I only saw two Japanese beetles this year, and I killed one of them. I hope there weren't a lot more. Maybe they fried in the heat wave.

Julia - I do water the seedlings, so they look much better than my registered daylilies at this point. It sounds like Dearest Valentine is multiplying very well for you!

Kate - It's interesting that Purple Passion's Promise and Approaching Storm look so similar. I guess I don't need Approaching Storm. I'm glad you like my late white seedling.
