I am beginning to plan my next project, repairing and painting exterior stucco and wood of my Tudor style home. I will not be painting stone or brick.

I’ve been leaning towards a darker grey (SW Peppercorn) with a softer white for the soffits/fascia for more of an updated look. I also like the traditional style with the current colors, but prefer a more updated color palette.

My concerns are:

1. Would the dark gray look off since so much of our home is stone/brick?
2. would the dark grey class drastically with the brown roof? The roof will not be replaced for several years.
