Levelling perimeter slope for basement floor

Hi all, so my wife and I moved into 1920s era home located in West end of Toronto and we were really excited to redo the basement so we could rent it out to perspective tenants. There's noticeable slope on what seems to be the last 3 ft before the floor meets the foundation around the perimeter of the basement. In some areas it's fairly substantial, and others it's barely noticeable.
Would anyone have a list of possible reasons why this could be? Also where to start with leveling the floor if we don't have much ceiling clearance to work with. I've posted some photos for reference
