Get something you can mount on the wall (it might be that TV) and put a cabinet under it for all the bits.

That said, we got a projecter and a drop-down screen. People occasionally notice the projector (I've thought about ways to hide it, but never notice the screen.

Yes, what @Sigrid said. I’d also try adding some art to the wall between TV & door. Won’t obstruct traffic but should make the wall look more a part of the room.

Can you show us the rest of the room? Maybe rearranging your furniture would give you a different option for your tv placement.

I'm guessing from the vertical blinds that this a rental or do you own? Cheap to relocate TV connections if this is your property.

Ballard’s makes wall mounted TV cabinets in various colors … Cabinets. I’m sure other companies do, too.

Or I’d just get a more solid and substantial cabinet for the spot, something that will look more intentional rather than temporary…. West Elm example.

Cute space - I feel like you have the furniture in the right spot. Just add a more substantial credenza under the tv, and either place the tv on the credenza or hang it on the wall.

I think it would be better to put TV on sofa wall, float the sofa facing the front window so it separates living/dining. Use chairs on the TV side of the rug, Art on the TV wall.

I would flip the entire room around so your sofa floats, creating an entryway of sorts with its back. Put the art on the current TV wall and the TV on the current art wall (and get a more substantial console).

I think you need a more substantial cabinet for the TV to go on, especially with the rest of your furniture. The one you have now seems like it's too flimsy to hold the TV.

Target has a cool console in two sizes. Would you recommend large or smaller? Wall is 78". Also natural, black or brown?

Personally I wouldn't put a large console right inside your front door. It will block the entry to your condo. Really think you need to flip the room.

Agree with anj_p. Although I also like Olychick's and decoenthusiate's suggestions. Basically, move the TV to the current sofa wall, and put the sofa anywhere else in the room (except right up against the current TV wall.

The room is 14x28. If I flip the room and allow for a walkway behind the sofa, the living area will be pretty long and narrow.

In that case I would float the sofa in front of the window. Console table behind the sofa with plant and/or lamp. TV on your current sofa wall, wall-mounted on brackets that let you pull it out and rotate for a better viewing angle from the sofa.

Sounds like it would work. It’s always hard to say from just static images.

I like the style of it. I’d try moving it a bit farther to the right on that wall.
