BUD BENNETT BLOOMS ON WEDNESDAY

There were several Bud Bennett intros open today so I decided to have a separate post for them. Several are some of my favorites.

WILD CHERRY WINE: One of my favorites. On my phone it is definitely more pink.

SWEET TART: The sun is coming up and is behind the bloom.

BIG HEARTED LADY: I am starting to really like this one. The color is great. This was taken in the back bed so it is still a little shaded. The previous two are in my front bed and get the morning sun.

KISSING BRIDE: New to me. I was able to acquire it in the fall.

TORRID DANCER: Another front bed plant

BOLD SYMPHONY: Also a front bed plant.

SITTING COOL: One of my very favorites. This photo was taken at 8 pm after 95 degree heat and being in the sun all day. I just love it.

Bennett daylilies just have a form I like. Clear color bloom with light, perfect ruffle.

Those are beautiful, David! Wild Cherry Wine is always a favorite, but I also really like Big Hearterd Lady, Sweet Tart, Sitting Cool and Bold Symphony> Real beauties all of them.

I too like the last one, Sitting Cool. Soft colors and looks to be able to handle the heat and sun.

I do love the Bennetts. I can see why Sitting Cool is one of your favorites. It would be on my fav list as well. I live the photo of Sweet Tart.

Sitting Cool is looking very good here. What a shame that so many of these cultivars are passed by most daylily enthusiasts.

Bud Bennett definitely looks as if he was the king of the pink daylilies. Such a beautiful group! I love Wild Cherry Wine every time someone posts it. Sweet Tart is my second favorite.

Love your Bennetts! Sitting Pretty and Big Hearted Lady are at the top of my list today.scrumptious color on BH Lady. sitting Pretty has the delicate coloring I like.

Bennetts daylilies are usually right up my alley. Wild Cherry Wine has been with me for years. It bloomed quite a long time this year. It's not as pink as yours, but it's still one of my favorites.......I really like Sweet Tart too or your picture of it. I don't remember what it looks like later in the day if you have posted it before.....Big Hearted Lady is another pretty one..............Maryl
