Most likely weather related. My Banksiae lutescens has finished its third flush of flowers this year. Basye's Amphidiploid 86-3, the Banksiae X Laevigata hybrid has flowered twice (it's traditionally once-flowering). Dr. E. M. Mills is pushing another flush of flowers, its second of the year. 0-47-19, Ralph Moore's Wichurana X Floradora rambler is pushing scattered buds after its second flush of the year. It's supposedly once-flowering. And, R. Xanthina is starting to push flowers again, its second flush of the season. When the temps swing from cool to warm and back then begin rising again, the once bloomers get tricked into thinking it's spring again. The Laxton's Fortune apple is also pushing some odd flowers now, too.

My wisteria is blooming now after it got Spring frost damage earlier.

My R. banksia lutea still has a few blooms.

Some years, it carries bloom right through August, though that is less common as the climate heats up.
