Furniture cleaning recommendations.
I bought a new henredon sofa and chairs around 20 years ago. After a few years I moved to another house and the oversized furniture was too large for my home. I gave it to a family member who wanted it for a garage to den conversion they were going to eventually do but never did. It has sat in their garage for 16 years. They recently gave it back to me. It has stains on some of the cushions. They stored some of the pieces outside in a shed for a bit and they got mold on them. How do I clean this stuff? There is no cleaning code that I can find anywhere. Only a label that says to have it professionally cleaned but not to use water. All the professional upholstery cleaners in my area use water. The one chem dry place has very poor reviews. I’m in a different house now and have enough room for the furniture so I would like to use it. But I don’t even want to bring it into my house until it’s cleaned. Any suggestions?
