Ideas for dining room. Please help!

To be honest, I really don't like this pink color, I wanna transform this space into a dining room, I hope the style is simple, not too fancy. Any advice? Appreciating all advice and ideas!

omg. Looks like Barbie and Pepto-Bismol got into a fight.

Can you post a scale drawing of the room?

    What's your style?

What directions are the windows facing?

What furniture do you already have? Can post pictures of the furniture?

I would neutralize the pink explosion with at least 2 coats of primer and make sure you have adequate ventilation (I had to neutralize a room painted in blue and puke green)

Are you looking for specific recommendations for a dining table and chairs? Or new paint colors? Or new chandelier? A budget range would be helpful.

You will get a ton of help here if you can tell us some of your likes and dislikes. I agree the wall color is tough to even look at - much less have a meal there. What colors are the rest of the house? Do you have a dining table and chairs? Artwork? Is the house traditional? Modern? MCM?

If you painted this room white, your brain might be able to start envisioning another decor more easily.

My favorite dining room of all time was pink, just not that dark a pink. Of course, that was back in the 80s when pink was favored in not so usual places. Prime your walls with KILZ, Zinzer or other product for that purpose. You'll have to do it anyway to cover that pink, and it will neutralize the room enough for you to make better decisions. I don't care for either of those light fixtures. You need better lighting to determine the true colors you're sampling, and 3500-4000K LEDs will do a lot to add a natural daylight look. Here's some info to help you help us.

Love the color. I would leave it as is, or add wainscoting, painted white. It will be a gorgeous room.

    Change the chandelier.

It‘s a blank slate. Did you want to coordinate with adjoining rooms or hall, prefer light or dark, what’s your style and furniture like (or what you want) . Your best bet is to search Pinterest and Houzz and if you want a simple look, try Scandi, Japandi or natural California and walls will range from pure whites, warm creams and even warmer beige.

Lovely room! If you like the simple style. The modern or minimalist style would be a good choice, and I would recommend white, beige, or other light colors as the main color. For curtains, I recommend beige velvet curtains or sheer curtains, or it depends on the color of your dining table. Here are some references for you, hope it can help:

We need info as to at least your style but IMO start by giving those walls 2 coats of primer so that that horrible color does not drive any decisions .Balnk slates are not ideal for getting help with decor so please after all this time we need pics of the rest of your spaces or post some stuff in your idea books at least.
