@palimpsest I was thinking maybe someone made an aesthetic circular ring that might brace the bottom. The photo is a weight ring for a golf club, but it's just an illustration of general idea.

”Museum Putty” will hold it in place; lots of brands are readily available online.

@spammie Maybe museum putty on a decorative concrete tile for the base would work here. The tile could offer enough weight to keep it all in one spot, and the putty would prevent the vase from tipping over.

You should be able to putty it to a shelf, but a glass or tile base would allow you to move it from place to place.

All your stuff should be mounted - minimum 3M 2-sided tape (removable style) - you know, San Andreas fault line.

Nah, not tape. That'll make it hard to rearrange things. Museum putty/wax is the good stuff.
