Yesterday's Blooms

I didn't get any photos today because of the rain. It wasn't really enough to do the flowers any good, but it kept me inside this morning. Here are a few photos from yesterday.

Cherokee Pass has been in the garden for many years. It is a late bloomer.

Deadliest Catch is taller than it's ever been.

The flowers of Delinguent Doll, another late bloomer, have been very large this year.

Here's a better photo of It's Glad Cows Don't Fly. I really like this daylily but I'm not a fan of its name.

I think the color of Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding is a bit dull (at least in our garden),

I finally got to see a Pigment of Imagination before it changed much.

This is Techny Peach Lace, not one of my favorite Reckamp-Klehms.

This is a late bloomer we are considering for introduction. It is Cactus Blossom X Never Too Late.

This seedling has been hanging around for several years. It has a rather odd color, but not enough buds for introduction. It is Barracuda Bay X a noid that we have grown for many years.

Here is another seedling being considered for introduction. It's not my favorite color (but Bob loves it) but it is a good grower.

Cherokee Pass is pretty and I actually like Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding in your photo...It isn't really dull there. Cactus Blossom X Never Too Late is pretty and that is a nice clump of it too. Barracuda Bay X a noid is a different one, but I suspect it grows on you, or at least on me.

What color would you say your seedling is? Gold/yellow or more in the Apricot/orange range? I like it........I also like Delinquent Doll. Had to look it up. A Derrow introduction I see. I think you have a few of his....................Maryl

I like the seedling Cactus Blossom X Never Too Lae. How is the stats on it?

I like the bright oranges and toothy ones, and the pink Delinquent Doll is especially pretty. And late!

The Cactus Blossom seedling is my favorite, what a pretty clump. I had to laugh, I too have a very similar "odd" color seedling that I keep and keep, it intrigues me. Mine is often splotchy though so that may make my decision easier.

Cherokee Pass is a nice one, and I like Delinquent Doll. The Cactus Blossom seedling makes a beautiful clump!

Cherokee Pass is very reliable and a good grower here. Delinquent Doll is my favorite. There are many cultivars here this year that are taller than usual. I would hope that they would continue to be so, but not counting on it.
