I am sorry but I don't understand the question. it seems you have a seating area to the right in the pic and that area of the patio is curved so amybe do ato scale drawing to give me a better feel for the space I can't imagine extending the patio for seating closer to the pool and away from the rest of the entertaining space .

I am looking to extend my patio to accommodate a seating area. I also love the Pasadena couch. There’s landscape behind the high table on the right that can be removed and patio can be extended there. Or should I broaden the patio in the center of the pool by flowers? That is a new idea but the right area was where I was leaning. Also what would the appropriate space be for that couch?

How about a small pathway leading to the new couch zone?
