It's a nice paper. Does it work in your aesthetic for growing up people? Wall paper is a commitment. Age of children changes quickly particularly in home where they don't live. It does make me wax nostalgic for my Noah's Ark nursery. But gotta say I am sooo glad I lived when we let children have COLOR. My rainbow was primary colors and for sure the animals came two by two and the lions were not gender neutral!!

I love the wallpaper and would do that in a heartbeat for kids room and especailly one where they do not live with it all the . It makes it a special treat when comong to gramma's As for the beds peobly at least the crib should be able to convert to a toddler bed as the new guy ages and the 2 yr old should have a nice twin bed low to the ground . I tlooks like there is bue in the paper I would do one wall with the paper and the other walls in the blue. Hvae accent pillows that are for each child when they visit of course not right now for the new baby.

When I was a child, the bedroom I shared with my sister was painted a dark gray and the draperies were a bark cloth that had a jungle theme, including elephants and tigers, etc. I LOVED that room! We had maple furniture with white bedspreads. But that was in the 1950s. I love the paper you have chosen! Your grand children will enjoy it, too!

Look, there are a million ways to make this last for years.......thus it depends! You could mural an entire wall w/ peel and stick! A lot less long term commitment. It's for kids, and yup, they do grow very quickly! Or just Wainscoting and use color and ART.... and accessories. Those are low commitment as well.

Perhaps when you spend a little dream time? It needn't BE that paper unless you are still very much in love

Really sweet wallpaper and should be suitable for quite a few years. I’d only do one wall and save the money (won’t be long before they could be drawing on it) and the effort and just add framed prints or a cute decal(s) that can be updated as they age.

Bring paper with you when choosing paint chips, narrow down to 2-3 and order large sample cards to test in room.

A good bet are conversion beds for both and I’d then save money on buying second hand. Try Ikea or Marketplace for a dresser (paint if you have to) that can be used as a changing table and for sure a rocker. They are expensive (again try second hand). My 1 1/2 year old grandson and I have pretty special times in the rocker.

You could buy extra rolls of any coordinate paper you like and when the children get older you can remove the one wall of that fun paper and and replace.

I'd do twin beds (or a daybed with trundle). The baby will probably be pack-and-playable until he's ready for a bed. It'll be all too soon!

Daybed and trundle is a good combo for those who might roll out of bed.

I like the wainscoting idea--it can just be a chair rail--with paper above on all four walls. It's a good paper and not juvenile. Jan has the right color for the walls.

Thank everyone for your suggestions. I will definitely post pictures when room is complete. The room is small but has a dormer window and two closet on each side. Any suggestions on these spaces? I plan on taking off the closet doors to open up the room and make it look bigger.

I love the woodwork in there. It's a really neat space with all the nooks and crannies. It makes it easy to paper just one (or some) walls. Without knowing just how small the room is, I'd want to keep the closet doors.

How wide is the dormer nook? Can you fit kid chairs in there or does it call for a beanbag?

I might find a perfectly sized ottoman to put under that gorgeous arched window for an instant window seat.

No doors and organize cupboards for a cute, as well as practical storage solutions.

Is the closet on the right bigger than the left? Since the room is small, it might be a sweet spot for the crib.
