Three FFOs, others, clump shot

Not a bad day for late season. There are several clumps-Carmen Renee continues to show off daily [12 flowers today] as does So Lovely, but I already have shown clump shots of them. Several others blooming and VTs getting up steam. FFOs are the first three

I've been waiting for this one.....

VT Bridal Lilac. It is beautiful beyond the other VTs. I got it a few years after the others and this is now the third year and it is really taking off. It is a large flower [7] and medium height. Used this for hybridizing this morning with Carmen Renee and a couple others.

VT Sophie

VT Rose Rosy. Similar to the smaller VT Sept. Star but larger and not as well budded. I like Star better.

VT Sept. Star for comparison.

VT Fondly Kin clump. I don't know if it is the humidity or what, but it doesn't usually roll back like this.

Ice Carnival, forgot to get a picture when it started. It is nice and white and late.

I usually don't think about the VT series having rose colored daylilies. They are quite nice and your white Ice Carnival does look good. Late season whites are not a bad thing sometimes if the heat has set in. They just get whiter as the sun bleaches them out...........Maryl

VT Bridal Lilac is a pretty one! I think I like VT September Star the best because it has a watermark.

Debra, I like Sept. Star a lot too. I crossed it with Rose Rosy to see if I can get a larger flower with the design of Sept. Star.

VT RR Red. Kinda odd but very late!

Bridal Lilac has beautiful gradations and blending of color. I can see why it's a favorite.

The VT's do well for you Brad. I use to grow Ice Carnival years ago. I forget how whitish it can be.

Bridal Lilac and September Star are lovely, I may have to try those lates. I don't remember seeing Bridal Lilac before. I wanted to add, I gather more rains are hitting the areas already hit by heavy rains. I hope your son is safe!

Nancy, thanks for asking about my son. He should be able to stay safe. The worse that happens is that the bridge to his home gets flooded over and he gets trapped. Electric is also unreliable so he's going to get a generator.
