Thanks, all. I have a call into County Extension office who didn’t know off hand but will investigate and call me back. As for how I got the pic, I dusted a few of them off the window, put them on a black background and took a pic with my ipad. Picked the best image and enlarged it on ipad edit. And there you go.

University of Il extension office just called back. They think these are midges (chironomids) in the adult stage. These insects have several different hatching periods and are an important source of food for all wetland creatures. They swarm above the water surface. Maybe at night, they are attracted to the lights of my windows and gather there. Thanks so much for all the advice.
