So I’m attempting to create a few Viola hybrids, but I can’t seem to successfully pollinate them by hand (all are grown indoors under grow lights). I’ve tried picking stamens off and rubbing them on the stigma, but no seeds ever form. I’ve tried brushes, but i dont know if they’re the correct material to pick up pollen. I would really like some input from anyone who knows how to successfully make them set seed by hand. Thanks!
