I can't see the front door area so don't think a portico suits this home. Paint all the gray a nice soft sage green. Include the trim and garage doors. Then work on landscaping

Love your setting! I agree with changing the gray paint - it doesn't really go with the brick. Any replacement color you choose will need to work with brick, roof and trim color (which I might try in a warmer white). If it were me, I'd pay for a few hours of a designer's time to give you some direction. You want to get it right in the first pass! Also, some landscaping would help. Do you have plans for plants or garden beds? One thing I love to do when I need ideas is look at Houzz photos. I also have a brick house, although mine might be more orange, and it's fun to see the color combinations other people have used.

Please post a picture after the tree is down, when we can clearly see the front. Then we can try all sorts of things...paint, landscape, etc.

Which tree will be removed? Or both? Agree with Jean, post better pictures of the front of the house.

You possibly could do a pergola...with the two front facing gables, it would add a lot of interest to the house.

A portico is not the answer, changing the color of the siding, adding landscape, changing the color or add new front door.

My friend also suggested painting the vinyl...we both loved olive green w/alabster trim.

Why are you removing the tree? It looks like the other one might be dying, but that one looks healthy.

Landscaping, landscaping and landscaping. Then think about the colors. It's worthwhile to go to a local nursery as many will help you with a plan.

Personally I don't see a pergola on this house.
