IMO if comfort is important go shopping ther eis no way to understand the comfort online

I actually have the Avondale, but I’m within my timeframe to return it. I need to decide and having a hard time with it. I love the look, but wonder if long term it will be supportive enough.

What did you decide? I’m considering the Avondale.

Any updates on Avondale? I'm considering but I have seen reports about the fabric pilling and the cushions not aligning properly.

I've been debating bt the axis and the lounge. I've also been debating between the taft cement and taft pearl. Any insight? Anyone have either of those in that color?

I love the look of that sofa. I love the low backed sofas in general. But after sitting on one for 30 mins this past weekend I realized they are not at all comfortable (for me) for even modest periods of time. And apparently they might be agonizing for anyone in your household over 6 feet tall. Go to a store with a friend and sit on one chatting for 30 mins. See how you like it.

I received my axis sectional and it was sagging already within a day. Some of the cushions weren't filled enough. I didn't realize but they use feathers in Axis and we already see feathers coming out. There was also a cut probably from delivery guys. Thankfully store said that the sofa isn't made properly and they can replace it. So now we are considering avondale sectional as it's cushions do not use any feathers and seem a lot more firmer so hopefully it will hold a bit longer. Overall, quality of C&B and Pottery Barn has gone down so much in recent years. Not sure if spending $6k-$7k on a sectional there is worth anymore and if we should rather look at sectionals at Costco, Macy's, and other stores with lower end price point.

Avondale now uses feathers . I bought mine a year and a half ago... filled with cheap foam that became misshapen with weeks. After finding out that now made with feather down , I ordered the replacement inserts. We will see if it still holds its shape
