I hired a local reputable family company to finish my basement. It was a relatively simple job just needing walls, drop ceiling and flooring. The drop ceiling tiles don’t sit flush with the support system so there are tons of gaps all over the place. Are these small gaps considered acceptable? I looked at a bunch of other drop ceilings and I didn’t see these gaps.
