Who will be using this space? If it's going to be two people, then the two chairs.

Can we see them both in the space?

ETA you have two dog beds, so why not two chairs.

How likely is it that two people would sit there together?…i would base my choice on that…one chair and table will look best…not so crowded

It also looks like some window treatments would add a lot to the ambiance of the room

Some of the blinds do not block light..does that interfere with sleep after the sun comes up?

With just one chair you will also have more wall space for the doggie beds…could even choose a chair side table …big enough for one bed to fit beneath

eld 6161, there would only be one person sitting in the area. And truthfully, I probably wouldn't sit there very often because there are lots of other places in the house to sit. I'm putting seating there because I don't know what else to do with the space and it looks strange with nothing there.

btydrvn, you make a good point about having more room for the pet beds if I only have one chair. I really can't move the other chair in to see how it looks. I'm recovering from knee surgery and it was hard enough moving this one. I agree that I need some window treatments, but wanted to get everything else done first.

The shades are pretty good at blocking light in the morning, but then I'm usually up pretty early because of the dog. (small bed belongs to my cat)

I would skip the chairs with this added info…but i always notice pix of doggies and cats sitting..sunning..watching the outdoors from benches in spots like this..if they are house pets and if you leave this room open for them?…another thing you see is a little desk area for i-pad sessions…with a view….or bill paying….?

You could also add a window seat …which could offer some extra space for storage if needed…so sorry to hear about the knee issue…but sometimes that keeps you still …to ponder things like this 🤷🏼‍♀️☺️

Thanks btydrvn. I’m also now thinking of maybe just keeping the bench and having a nice cushion made for it. My cat would love it.

My knee issue has given me way too much time to think😊. I also was forced to buy a recliner and I hate recliners, especially the ugly one i had to buy last minute. Now I need to figure out what to do with that, but that’s for another discussion.

We all have burdens to bear 😜…but yours don’t sound too bad…😋i am just so jealous you have a doggie and a kitty to love…our lifestyle no longer allows that for us..but when we did have pets we both worried about them like they were our children

Considering the space as it appears from the photos, adding two wing-back chairs with a table might make the space look extra occupied. Since you are moving the bench out, the table takes that space. And adding one chair is sufficient as you won’t be holding group sessions in the bedroom either.
