Waht is the bedding that IMO is where you start in abedroom. The other item is who uses this space more men or women or couples mosr men not really lovers of pinks and mauves .

a guest room should be simple, clean and calm.

I'd go with the palest of color, in your pinks or mauves of choice, and French Country doesn't mean FLORAL, stay away from floral fabrics... use a vase of fresh flowers instead.

Subdued patterns are timeless, floral just looks old.

Perhaps you can put together an ideabook here of French Country bedrooms that you like. Then load your favorites among those onto apps from major paint companies to pin down the colors you see and like.

If you really wanna give a slightly feminine touch in your guest room. I suggest Magnolia's Ella Rose, it is soft neutral pink and also looks almost white in larger spaces.

Your pics in the idea books do not reflect that color choice .

We like to say design from out to in. An older comment said to start with window coverings. We'd like to second that and then you can work your way in from there. You can base the other colors- from the walls to the bedding covers on the colors you've selected from the coverings.

A faint pink room with white bedding is for the little girls. Not guests. Unless those are seven year old girls?

What is the bed, ( post photo's ) what is the carpet or flooring? A room is more than paint, and do NOT begin with window coverings. Just NO.

I would never start a room decor with window coverings and if you do not share the space with us we are working in the dark. White bedding , what is white ? The sheets the duvet what?? IMO guest rooms are where I think 5 star hotel space so if french country is what you like then find an inspiration pic and use that. Since you are sharing nothing with us to help you .There are 2 really pretty all white bedrooms in your idea books why not think that instead of pink for anything more than an accent color.

Can’t go wrong with warm white walls. Look for a second hand dresser and nightstand and chalk paint. Layer bedding, botanical framed prints are a good choice and add some antique brass.

I’m partial to Benjamin Moore paint and the helpful advice from their consultants. Ask to see warm whites and when lined up, you’lll see the undertones and depth. Narrow down and get test pots, just to be sure and look at during different times of the day and with lights on.

There is nothing wrong with very pale blush colors, and it's not just for women! It's a universally flattering shade that I think would be fine in a guest room. You do need to consider the color of your bedframe, nightstands, and flooring in the space though. If your woodtones are lighter, a very soft blue/green might be nice. The only way white would be interesting is if you have colored or patterned bedding and drapes, a colorful rug, lots of artwork, or good use of textures.
