Philodendron Dark Lord

Just bought a Philodendron Dark Lord for $15, I think it was propagated locally. Never heard of it before, but I read it was once considered rare and expensive. Anyone have a big one, he can grow tall and imposing? Should I stake it from the start?


Never been successful at growing these types of plants to look good, they grow floppy and sprawling. I would think an East window would be fine, but not so far.
