I’d add an area rug first to define the space and add a little color. Then find pillows/throws to coordinate with the area rug.

Yes to adding a rug first. Then pillows -- here's a pattern to follow, which my daughter and I were just discussing for her living room:

- Three large-ish pillows with a large-scale pattern, placed on the three corners

- Two solid-colored medium pillows on the two ends

- A small-print pillow and a solid-colored odd-shaped pillow in the middle

- Finish with 1-2 throws

Thank you all. I definitely want to add a rug!! Great ideas and i appreciate them 😁

Are those photos or mirrors on wall? I would replace with a piece of artwork that is not framed in glass.
