Pretty much any houseplant should work there given your climare. I’d go to a good nursery or plant store, see what you like the look of, and check if it’s cat safe.

Almost anything will do well in E facing balcony as for pet friendly I am not sure about that. I do agree go to the local garden center and they will have tone sof ideas . Are you planning to have them out all the time then you need to know what will grow and live outside all year

^Nice from Doug. I was also thinking schefflera. Ficus was another thought, but it looks like they’re not a good idea for pets.

I also immediately thought of Schefflera. Mine lives outside from April to November and I’m sureit would be happy outside year round in z10. However,, I checked before mentioning it and found it is toxic to cats.
