It is nice to see some of your seedlings are still pumping out the blooms. Last Chance for Romance is such a performer, wish I knew what happened to mine. Considering how dry it has been these last few blooms look glorious.

My Indian Ripple has never rebloomed either. A great fall color bloom! I really like the pink color of Browns Ferry Debutante. Your seedlings still look good!

As I was grooming my daylilies yesterday I was amazed to see 2 rebloom scapes on my Indian Ripple starting up. What gives with rebloom this year? Daylilies not even listed as rebloomers have rebloomed for me. Mother nature is a funny old gal. She likes to confuse me I think............I like that Brown's Ferry Debutante. Douglas has hybridized many pretty faces and I'll be curious if his plants overall grow and perform well.........You know I like SC Irish Illumination. Blooming later then mine used to. Always liked the edge on it.......Maryl

Indian Ripple is also pretty. I've had 2 different daylilies over the years that were supposedly IR and neither were. They weren't nearly as nice nor well bloomed and both are long gone. Browns Ferry Debutante is also a pretty color.

Indian Ripple was especially nice this year here. Rainfall brings out the best; maybe, constant cold winters too.

Maryl - Maybe you're the person I'm thinking about who always gets rebloom on Indian Ripple. I haven't had as much rebloom as usual, but then I haven't watered as much as I have in the past. Ones that have always rebloomed in the past, like Pink Lemonade Party, Blue Jay Tapestry, Old Time Italian, Fighting Fire and Dearest Valentine, haven't. It may be they are more shaded now, or it may be the lack of water. The Browns Ferry daylilies vary in their performance. The Color of Wonderful and Coastal Grand have always been topnotch performers here. Browns Ferry Queen of Hearts has not fared as well. Most years it has been short and the flowers spotchy. Last year it bloomed very well and rebloomed. Browns Ferry Cream Supreme, A Groovy Kind of Love and Morning Pleasure have done OK in pots. Others I've gotten from there have died in their pots or I have given away.

Sherry - I had hoped we would get rain the past few days. There was so much rain all round us Friday and Saturday, but my yard only got some brief sprinkles. It's hard to believe there were flash flood warnings out for other parts of Nashville.

Brad - Last Chance for Romance has performed very well this year. I think it's one that benefits from being in part shade.

Kate - Browns Ferry Debutante is a pretty shade of pink - even when the temps are in the mid 90s.
