AC Unit for Garage Recommendation

I have a 500sq/ft garage that I want to add an AC unit in. There is a large soffit space where the vent ducting for the drier runs that has enough space for me to put an AC unit in that would fit an in-wall/through-the-wall form factor unit. I am trying to find something like this but where on the back side it allows for exhaust vet ducting instead of being an actual through-the-wall/-window style. Does anybody know of such a unit they would recommend?

Mini-split heat pumps are well suited for your application.

The problem with the Mini-splits is that they require an outside unit to be padded. I am in an HOA and it would be approved. I need something self-contained the would only allow 4" to 6" vent grate to be visible from the exterior.

Look at a Hybrid (Saddle) Air Conditioner and see if it will work for you. Some brands work like a mini split, and I've seen these called micro splits, but are cheap and work pretty slick.

Any air conditioner will have some portion visible on the exterior. Most HOAs will allow outdoor units with visual screening, e.g., a screen fence or landscaping.
