Still no comments? I think two choices. One to mimic the dining set. Or one that adds a soft curve to the room and mimics the beams. Both should have legs that show off the carpet.

To my eyes end tables and lamps are the first priority. Lamps will help mark up the dark corners. Maybe move couches closer together, so at least front legs are on rug. That way people can reach coffee table from couch.

I think a wood coffee table would fit the feel of this space. Try to place the front ends of the Sofas' on your carpet. You might need a larger rug if you can afford it. And lamps on the sides of the Sofas. It depends what style you are going after. I would personally put a baluster style coffee table in driftwood grey or white/cream to tie in the Sofas and blue pillows to tie in the carpet.
