I've used a dark reddish color on 2 different home builds in the past. I find it pairs with natural stone and lighter/medium wood very well. I'd add just a touch more red into your paint sample, but that's just me :) SW has a few great colors in that range, but don't be afraid to experiment with half tints etc. Trim colors should be based on practicality and of course personal preferences.... I do not understand the question . You have already chosen color for the barn IMO I would not do red with that garage door and not sure why that color for the garage door with that stone and any red. So you are going to live in this barn? The garage seems to be in a weird spot so maybe a bit more info.

Ignore the door color. Just wanted to show a barn in a dark blue green.

Specifically, I recommend B.M. Knoxville Gray. I like it with the garage doors and the stone.

I think the trim should be light. B.M. recommends Marble White, which I think will be perfect with the doors and the stone.

I think a nice dark gray woud be my choice .
