I am not sure about what stain to use since the house is not finished . Is the black sidning going to go on the new addition too? I rarely order exterior doors to be finished on site but I live where we use mostly steel doors to avoid storm doors so I like a factory finish it just lasts so much longer . IMO since your fornt door is hiding there it might be nice to keep it clear coated and not stained at all . Why SW at all there are many exterior stain companies far superior to SW. I would wait until the house is finished then decide on door color . Is there going to be wood anywhere on the exterior ? IMO with all black and white I would do the door in a color and then pick that color up for plantings in huge pots on either side of the garage door .

I see no traditional or transitional. The house is MCM. From your photo I see deciduous trees. The doors you show look like interior doors. Thinking you need to find an exterior door, something like Thermat tru, with no muntins.
