Hi did you move forward with the Aurora? I am considering this for my counter tops. Cant find hardly and of pictures installed

Hi I did go with the white aurora for my countertops and backsplash. I love it! Here are a few pics from right after the installation

I want to use it as backsplash as well but my Contractor warns against quartz behind the range.

I was told by my fabricator and contractor that vadara quartz is safe as a backsplash behind the range as long as it’s not above 500 degrees. Vadara shows a ton of quartz backsplashes on their website so I am hoping it’s ok!!!

Vadara has wonderful customer service so you can always email them and ask as well. The email and phone number are on the vadara website

Curious to know if you've had any staining issues? (red wine and turmeric - or a hot pan- are my concerns) This has been my choice for a while and now as we go to order it I learned of these possible concerns. It looks so beautiful, and thx for the pics above!

I have not had one staining issue and I cook a lot. I use trivets for hot pans, but any stains have come off with windex or acetone (they say to use that for anything that won’t come off). I’ve been really happy with it

I think Calacatta gold is pretty similar to this one! I am so happy with my choice. It’s very subtle so I feel like I’ll never get tired of it.

I found this thread because I was looking to see if anyone else was having issues with poor quality with Vardera quartz and specifically the white Aurora. I love it in my kitchen! Unfortunately, however, within a couple weeks, I noticed blue spots surfacing. My contractor and designer took a look and said that was not normal and to contact the store where it was purchased. I did that and they had a rep from Vardara come to my house. They were unable to remove the spots, suggested it was, a flaw, and recommended triggering the warranty. Vardara management rejected their rep’s request. I honestly didn’t really want the hassle of a complete replacement so asked about an extended warranty in case more of the blue spots surfaced in time or expanded - which seemed very reasonable to me. They declined to do that too! Has anyone else had poor quality or poor service from Vardara?

Oh wow that is terrible. So sorry to hear that. We have not had any issues with ours.

has anyone used white aurora specifically with BM white dove cabinets? i’m worried the white dove is too warm of a white for the aurora
