Dear Potential Customer:

Unfortunately, your top was built and installed with some fundamental flaws. The edge seam adhesive appears to be a cheap polyester which quickly failed from the UV light of the sun. The built-up edges that haven't failed yet are going to. The plywood underlayment is delaminating and swelling.

Is it possible to fix? Probably, but when it inevitably fails again, now it would have my name on it. That's a risk I'm not willing to take.

A possible permanent fix would be to remove the tops, delaminate the rest of the built-up edges, reprofile and polish them, replace the plywood with stainless steel at the cantilever, and reinstall the tops, however, this would push the boundaries of cost effectiveness. You could probably replace the tops for less.
