We are doing a full bathroom remodel. Current plan is to use only ceiling cans for light (1 in the shower and 2 in the dry room). Dry Room is about 5x8 with a 5 foot vanity (1 sink) on one wall visible as you walk in the room, and there is an additional area for the shower. My question— is it necessary to use a light fixture on the wall above the sink? We plan to have a large full wall mirror above the vanity. I like the idea of having one for visual interest - my spouse doesn’t want one and wants to showcase the countertop and tile. What are your thoughts?
