I would add three can lights there. What is in the space “below” your table? Do you need a light there? Your cans should be located above your countertops though—where they are now will create a shadow when you’re at the counter working bc the light is behind you. Here’s part of our kitchen lighting plan so you can see where the cans are placed. And are they all 4” vs the old-style 6”?

You will always be in shadow with the that light location- when you are at the counters the lights are always behind you. Not what I would do…

Were you planning on having a chandelier over the table? Either add more cans, or a chandelier would help. Because they're hung low they cast good general illumination across a wide area.
