No more white--I'd add a colorful tile backsplash, a blue or green would be lovely.

Then add a rug, counter top accessories, perhaps a window treatment for interest.

What about cabinet hardware? That will add some contrast too. White backsplash would look nice with a neutral grout color. The sample you have there would look nice too i think! Looks pretty :)

I really like the white sample you have. I think white backsplash is timeless. Put your colour on your walls and add some colourful accessories too. It’s always easy to paint and change your accessories when you tire of them. A lot harder to change out a coloured backsplash should you tire of it

Thank you ladies for the input! Cabinet hardware will be a champagne bronze (gold) and we need to bring up the cabinet where the sink is to fit the kitchen faucet. We will be adding molding as well. The backsplash is the tricky one.

Are you near a Floor and Decor? They have loads of stuff in the store. My closest is 69 miles and I drove it and came home with only 3 samples. However, even though I did not go with their samples, I got loads of ideas. Sometimes online just does not cut it.

Consider swapping out the white range hood as well.

You could experiment with color(s) by simply painting the backsplash. Cheap and easy, and easy to tile over when you're sure of your choice.

Try @nickel_kg’s idea of putting up sample colors before you make a decision. The marble idea is also a way to “break up” the whiteness, but you may like a soft color there. Buy Samplize colors so you don’t keep buying small cans of paint.

IMO a nice simple galss subway tile could work but what do you mean by raising the sink? BTW I hate rugs in kitchens they are always a tripping hazed. There are lots of ways to bring color in without ever getting a rug. I never like real marble next to fake quartz

Hi Patricia, we have to raise the cabinet above the sink because the faucet is a high arc. Hoping this won’t look odd. Will play around with samples and yes glass tiles are beautiful and easy to clean. Going for a neutral look.

I would recommend a more contrasting counter top and/or backsplash that pops yet compliments your white cabinetry nicely. Here's an example where we worked with the homeowner to choose their tile backsplash and thick counter tops. Adding appropriately designed hardware would help a lot too.
