Pant colors are best selected based on the fabrics and textiles to be used in a room. Upholstery, rugs and window treatments should be considered when deciding on paint colors. Paint selection is the last step in the process of putting together a space.

Look to the rest of the house for your color palette. The goal with most additions is to have the new space so well integrated into the original space that it doesn't feel like an addition.

What is the color palette in the adjoining spaces. Looks like this will be next to the kitchen. Matching the kitchen flooring, cabinet color, countertop, trim and ceiling color and possibly the wall color would be where I would start if I wanted the space to look integrated.

What will the floor be?

Oops, forgot to mention that - it will be white oak! It looks like most people are doing a lighter/neutral wet bar and a more ‘stand out’ color for lockers like green, the problem is the company I’m thinking of getting the lockers from (California closets) only offers an off-white, grey, or dark blue color. I’m planning to get the wet bar cabinets also from them or from a cabinet store so those colors could be more flexible.
