Old Issue With Latex Rug Backing - Is It Resolved?

I was just reading some very old comments on other sites about smelling rugs with improperly cured latex, mainly PB rugs. Making people sick.


These were all from 2005-2009. Has this issue resolved?


I need to purchase 2 large area rugs and my husband is sensitive to these type of things.
