I wouldn’t have a need for a closet as big as bedroom 2, and I wouldn’t want to lose a bedroom. Maybe incorporate that hall closet into the master closet and add a couple of feet to the bathroom that way.

I agree with you that a whole room closet would be too large but we plan to add some sq ft to the bedroom and maybe half of it as closet.

I also like the idea of incorporating the hall closet to the main walk in, this would add about 2ft. The problem with this still doesn’t make our master bath better. It is quite small for a master and my husband ended up using the secondary bath…so not ideal! We want to make the best use of the space with what is available.

Removing a bedroom would be a big step down in home value in my neck of the woods - especially since br 4 is small. i’d be hesitant to do that unless it’s a forever home and you don’t mind spending a bunch of money on something that would make your home potentially worth less. i’ve always lived in old houses without a master bath so current set up would be a step up thiugh!

Yes, any upgrade would be for the best since right now the whole house is renovated (with Pool and outdoor kitchen) but bedrooms/baths are OLD, original tile and pink. Lol believe me when I say we have considered multiple Reno options from very drastic and costly to just cosmetic.

For thought as sizes are estimated. Keeping consistent bedroom sizes and number to the house, but as an office (option for bedroom) that lets south sun down the hall. Allowing larger Master bath and his & hers closets.

Interesting! Makes us think maybe we should just use “some” of the bedroom 2 for closet and try to keep 4br.
