My house is very dusty. Our floors were finished 3 days ago. I started to dry swisher the walls but decided to hire someone to clean.

My question is: there is dust on ceiling fan and ceiling etc. Can they use a ladder to reach those areas? My floor guy says furniture can go back in after 3 days (we haven’t done that yet) so I assume using a ladder is ok but feel like I read different things online and don’t want to hurt the floor. Should they use Ram Board or Thermoply? Or should i just duct tape rags to the bottom of the ladder? Itll be day 6 when they come out to clean Thanks.
