I have a new house and we are slowly setting up each rooms and I’m a bit teared about the dining room. I’ve managed to narrow down to two options:

Background:
My house is an open concept, modern style, you enter and see the stairs (natural wood with black metal) , the dining is to the right from the entrance, left is the formal living room.
Past the dining is the kitchen, white cabinets with a navy blue island and white quartz countertop then the family room gray sectional.
My accent color throughout is blue, I have navy blue bar stools, the island
Overall wall paint is white, solid wood light floors
So far no curtains just White cellular blinds

The style I’m going for is modern with some warmth.

Here are my questions:
what color table should I go with?
What color chairs?

Option 1:
First option is a marble top with black legs. Con table cannot be extended or made smaller (since we are a family of 3)
I’d get velvet blue or gray chairs.

Option 2: gray wood table, I feel like this doesn’t go with the theme as much. Something is missing. And I don’t think I can do the velvet chairs with the table? I was thinking if I add matching shelves it may tie it a bit more?
