quartz counter, is this normal?

Putting a cooling rack on my new quartz countertop yesterday and these are the scratches I’m left with today?!? Is this normal for quartz?

Are you sure those are scratches? They look like metal marks.

Oops posted before I was finished....

Baking soda mixed with water.

I just buy the Mrs Meyers baking soda cleanser as I have to clean my quartz constantly with the stuff and it's a chore mixing up baking soda all the time. We have nails on our counter stools and they mark the quartz constantly.

It will also get out turmeric stains.

Liquid form of Bartender's works for my white quartz...quartz is pretty tough. I've used GooGone, toothpaste, Dawn, Pledge, olive oil....don't worry, it will come off. I have 2 large cooling racks from IKEA. Very sturdy, comes with four rubber stoppers and if I am serving a casserole style meal, I can put it on the table with the hot casserole dish atop. You can also get the IKEA piece on Amazon $19.99.
