I don't want everything to be gold in my home I would like to sprinkle in a little silver and I wanted the powder room to be different but not sureMaybe I should keep the finishes all the same and do champagne bronze and the bathroom too?? Well if anyone has any answers I love to know I need to get back in my home

You do not have to have the same finishes in every room. So polished nickel in the powder room and champagne bronze in the kitchen is fine.

The bathroom does not need to match the kitchen ever . Powder rooms are one space where they do not even need to match the style you have everywhere else I often let my crazy go there. IMO the champagne bronze would not be my choice since it is a trend that will die soon IMO so keep it to a min. .

What color is the kitchen counter? I ask because I am hesitant about your getting more champagne bronze with a faucet.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting ok Was concerned it clash. The powder room is kinda of near kitchen . Funny thing is I was " going " to go for classic & timeless (which I " thought " I did the first time I built my home )but the tiles & other things had dated overtime so I figured why not just go for whatever you like so that's why I took the risk of doing champagne bronze everything in my kitchen (which kinda of scares me bc I need another metal ) I guess point is I was telling this to my best friend of 48 years about caring about trends & said how we had " chrome"  faucets our whole life & do what you  what u like who cares ! n  she actually wanted  to change her powder room to champagne bronze but never had the chance bc she passed away unexpectedly! So Why worry about trends and things dating when we only have this moment  now to live.  Thank u so much I appreciate it. guess I should take my own advice on that.

@ Laney - A decorator I know who does a lot of the model homes for developments in our area pointed out to me that when she does the bathrooms in the model homes she uses all of the finishes available in that one room, sometimes even having different finishes on the sink handles and faucet. She said no one notices until she points it out. I had used the bathroom and she was right. I went in, I noticed the wood ceiling in the bathroom, but I didn't notice that the handles on the sink didn't match each other or the faucet.

When I renovated my bathroom and decided to do brushed nickel finish on everything, but didn't really want to go to the expense of changing out my fairly new shower system that was chrome, I didn't worry about it and when showing the finished room to friends and family I asked them after saw the room if they noticed that I used two different finishes. Nope - not one noticed until I pointed it out.

No one will notice except you - pick what you like for each room and make yourself happy.

@judianna20 My countertops are a dark grayish/ blue Quartzsite. Thry backslash has white & off whites  subway tile. It's already ordered so no going back. I had chrome & brushed nikel stainless steel my whole life so now at 50 doing my house over I saw the champagne bronze & just thought it was different. Not worried anymore about trends too much these days hopefully I won't grow sick of the appliances I do have a problem with commitment '''& this is a big one but I thought it look nice if blended in a bit with all white cabinets & dark stained hardwood floors. ( I know everyone is going lighter but I already had that too when I first built my home. Thank u  ! My Hardware is also champagne bronze & loght I'm thinking something with black , bronze & white or Glass not sure on that. ??

@Jennifer Hogan True probably won't notice ? I'm really overthinking this ? I actually did things backwards now only bc I always wanted a powder room with a gold faucet or the " champagne bronze " but I did that already in the kitchen & it's kind of close so afraid that it be too much or & not enough impact in powder room if I did the same finish as kitchen? Thanks for your help! i appreciate it
