I'm trying to figure out the lighting for my kitchen remodel. We're looking to do recessed lighting above the counter tops and around the kitchen. The harder thing is what we plan on doing with the 12 ft island. The narrower side of the island has seating for 6 (2 each on 3 sides). Looking for ideas on where to layout the lighting. My wife was thinking maybe can lights down the middle of the island so she can put in pendants on those, but if she doesn't like them she at least has specific recessed lighting for task lighting. But we're open to any and all ideas. Thank in advance for the advice.
