Pendant finish for kitchen

we removed the wall betwen our kitchen and dining room oir kirchen remodel; sonthe 2 rooms are now incorporated as one .

my dining room currentty has a chrome finish chandelier which is staying.

our kitchen appliances are stainless steel.

for the kitchen faucet, I was going to do brushed nickel to go with the SS appliances..

unless doing a chrome is recommended for some reason(?) hardware same thoight

my quesrion is should the kitchen oendant light hardware/stem be brushed nickel to go with kitchen aoploances or or shiny chrime to go with the existing chandelier ober dining room table ? here are pics of my dining room and the 2 pendnats that I am considering for the island - I am torn between the 2 of them .

I can get the pendants in either finish.

Hey I think I remember your dining room in the thread you had about cutting down the island!

I prefer the brushed nickel and I would chose the one with the swirley glass over the indented bubbles.

The Chrome goes nice in your dining room because it is quite formal looking.

However your kitchen is not some super formal ”glam” style. So between those two finish choices, I would go with the brushed finish. Like you said it will match the nickel faucet and/or any other non shiney hardware in your less formal kitchen style.
