Hello - we just installed a backsplash in our kitchen. I have two questions

The Schluter is too wide and sticks out from the tile about 1/4” - there any way to adjust it? Can it be trimmed?

The pencil border around the main area above the stove has some large gaps. Any tricks on filling this in. I would like to match the pencil trim and not have the grout (we’re using a light silver) in this space. Thanks!!space .
