Only if your last name is Capulet; otherwise no fake balcony.

IMO a useless balcony makes no sense so no.

Oh Romeo, Romeo! Let down your hair... I'm with Mark: no balcony unless you're Rapuzel or Juliet.

Also no arched windows or garage doors

Thanks! It would be a real balcony but there isn't much worth looking out to since it faces the street.

Definitely a window

REAL or faux unused makes it a silly use of money and over the front --not likely to use. Neighbors have this feature. Teen girls bedroom. No one GETS it. It's pretentious and the reaction is the opposite of the 'impress the neighbors' goal.

Definitely a window, and make sure it's operable. Picture windows are not functional--they let in heat but not air, turning the room into a greenhouse or a sauna, especially on the south side (supposing you're in the Northern Hemisphere).

I'd grow plants on it. If that's not your vibe, skip the balcony.

Ditch all the arched windows and the arched garage door especially. The garage should never be your focal point.

This is an above garage bonus room on our existing home. The only addition is the second story above the current garage. The garage and arched window above the front door are already part of our home and cannot moved.

No balcony.
