Dining Area Chairs

I have an open floor plan (kitchen, great room and dining area). I've located a table which will seat 8 (3 chairs on each side). It's a parsons style table. From a design perspective, what are your thoughts for the chairs at the head of the table being different (arm chairs) from the side chairs which are armless? I like the Miles Chair (side & arm) at Crate and Barrel. Thanks in advance.

So, all the chairs are going to be Miles and you want to know if you should choose armed host and hostess chairs for either end? Sure, you can, very stream lined look. My question is do you want 8 look alike chairs?

Can you take some pics? 8 chairs might look crowded. How many do you need to seat every day? You may be able to stash a couple chairs somewhere else. Sometimes a table looks better with the ends open.
