It looks like the perfect floor mat beside the bed as mentioned. If you like that look. Some do. Love the color in there. Just make sure there is more of that shade of blue in the room. The little bit of navy on the pillows is not enough.

All that tile looks cold, though, I would go 8x10 or 9x12 under the bed, warm the space up. I guess if you live in the tropics the bare tile would be appealing.

Keep looking. That one is too small and underwhelming in the space. Looks more like a bath mat than a nice area rug.

A little fun fact, the house in the Middle East, so tiles are very common here rather than carpets or wood flooring. Although I love the look during the day, it certainly does look cold at night. Definitely needs a rug to warm up the space, although this is the preferred look around here…ironic!

OK, are you going to make a child nap there? Reminds me of when I was in preschool, they had a stack of carpet remnants and at nap time we would all grab one and curl up on it for 30 minutes!!!😆

Definitely go larger. And lighter.
I think a beige or white rug would work best.
Bring blues in, in a different way…
But if you go with a blue, I think lighter.

(Btw - my favorite color is blue. Absolute favorite. But I think more in the beige family will work better here…)

Yeah, they use floor tiles in Florida, Mexico, places like that. I've never been to the Middle East but I imagine it gets quite hot in the desert and the cool tile would be welcoming. Or is it a Mediterranean climate zone where it can get cold?

If you'll like it, no reason it can't go by the closet, etc.... ?
