You want something that is articulatable or just something to black it out?

Would a shade fit between the crank and the glass? You could do motorized shades that run on batteries.

Hunter Douglas makes motorized shades for skylights. They were hard to find a couple of years ago when I was looking.

Measure the extension jambs and order away. Plenty of online retailers.

Do you want the light during the day? I think a dark film over the glass would be a solution if not.

We purchased skylight blinds at Lowes, made by Graber i think. They have a metal u shaped track that you mount on the inside sides of the opening that the blind slides in.

Ours are double cellular shades that block the light well. We have a long pole to open and close them.
